Dr. Ahmed Makki MD, FRCS
GENERAL INFORMATION
Dr. Makki, is a senior consultant in Plastic
and Reconstructive Surgery, Managing Director and Founder of PLASTIC
SURGICENTRE, Doha, Qatar.
Since the time that he had completed his residencies and fellowships,
he had continued to actively pursue his surgical training through the
participation in plastic surgical training courses, workshops and
conferences both in North America and Western Europe. Dr. Makki has an
appreciation and understanding of the latest developments in his field
in order to offer his patients the highest possible standard of
surgical practice.
The practice includes both Cosmetic and Reconstructive surgery. The
reconstructive aspect of the practice involves; reconstruction after
burn injury, after soft tissue trauma, treatment of skin cancer, and
restoration following surgery of other types of cancer.
Dr. Makki performs many cosmetic surgical procedures, particularly
those involving facial rejuvenation. Lifting techniques include those
of the face, neck, eyes, and forehead which may be performed separately
or concomitantly. Body sculpting by means of liposuction, augmentation,
reduction, and lifting procedures are further areas of expertise. Fat
injection or facial fillers are frequently utilized techniques.
Skin rejuvenation by means of state-of-the-art Laser resurfacing is
also available for facial rejuvenation.
